Magnolia, TX—Texas Regional Bank (TRB) broke ground on its newest banking center in Magnolia, Texas, marking a significant step forward in the bank’s expansion throughout Montgomery County and the greater Houston area.
TRB leadership, local officials, and community members came together at the future site of the Magnolia banking center, situated at the southwest corner of FM 1488 and Community Drive, to celebrate the beginning of TRB’s investment in Montgomery County. The event highlighted the bank’s dedication to meeting the growing financial needs of individuals, families, and businesses in Magnolia and the surrounding communities.
The ceremony began with an invocation by Dr. Dale Talbert, Fellowship of Montgomery, and a presentation of colors by the Magnolia JROTC and included remarks from notable speakers such as Montgomery County Judge Mark J. Keough, State Representative Cecil Bell, Jr., Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley, and TRB leadership, including Michael Scaief, Chairman and CEO, and Jamie Brown-Rosas, Chief Community & Business Development Officer.
Skip Colvin, TRB’s Montgomery County Market President, is spearheading the new project and is uniquely suited to lead TRB’s expansion into the Magnolia market. The Magnolia banking center is expected to open its doors in late 2025.
