Our Company

In 2024, Texas Regional Bank established TRB Capital Markets through the acquisition of Estrada Hinojosa & Co., now the Municipal Advisory division of TRB Capital Markets. For more than 33 years, the firm has served public-sector clients as a municipal advisor and underwriter, participating in over 8,000 transactions totaling more than $738 billion.

That same year, the firm served as underwriter on $31.4 billion and as municipal advisor on $16.3 billion of municipal bond issues—a combined $47.7 billion across 427 transactions of both tax-exempt and taxable securities.

Today, TRB Capital Markets remains an industry leader in public finance, underwriting, and trading offering municipal advisory services under the Estrada Hinojosa division.
