Texas Regional Bank (TRB) announces the appointment of James Price as Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager. Based at TRB’s Fort Worth Speedway banking center, Price serves commercial clients throughout the DFW Metroplex.
Price is responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships, with a focus on lending, deposits and treasury management. He works with business owners to understand their operations, financial position and capital needs, and structure banking relationships to support growth and financial flexibility.
“James brings a strong credit foundation and a clear understanding of how businesses operate,” said Duke York, DFW West Region President. “He knows how to evaluate opportunity, structure credit responsibly and build relationships that extend beyond a single transaction. That experience strengthens our commercial banking capability in Fort Worth.”
Price brings more than a decade of experience in commercial banking, credit and finance. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager, advising businesses on lending, deposit and treasury needs. He previously led a commercial lending team serving Denton and surrounding markets.
His earlier experience includes commercial credit underwriting, financial analysis, transaction structuring and portfolio management, providing a credit foundation that complements his work developing and managing commercial relationships.
Understanding the business comes first. The financials tell part of the story, but the conversations around them provide the context. My job is to understand both and help clients make sound decisions about financing, liquidity and the broader banking relationship. I’m looking forward to doing that work with businesses throughout Fort Worth and DFW West. – James Price
Price earned a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Finance from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Texas Tech University. He also completed Level I of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas Bank Lending Institute.
