Texas Regional Bank (TRB) has been named Best Bank in Harlingen for the sixth consecutive year in the Valley Morning Star’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. Nora Koite of TRB was also named Best Banker, marking the seventh consecutive year a TRB banker has received the honor.
The annual awards recognize local businesses, organizations and professionals selected by readers in the Harlingen community.
TRB serves Harlingen from its banking centers on Stuart Place Road and 77 Sunshine Strip.
For Fred Garza, EVP and South Texas Region President, the bank’s six-year run speaks to the strength of its longstanding presence in Harlingen.
