Thank you to all Volunteers from Texas Regional Bank & Border Capital Bank!

Maribel & Juan Silva

Thank you for coming out to support the many causes this past weekend. Again, Texas Regional Bank and Border Capital Bank partnered up and showed our support for our local community. Texas Regional Bank was across the Valley this past Saturday.
The Museum of South Texas History in Edinburg hosted their annual Fandango event this past Saturday and called upon Texas Regional Bank to help with logistics for the event.  Sylvia, Felicia, Juan and Diana assisted in setting up the grand-tent in the scorching heat! All proceeds raised will be utilized towards the Museum of South Texas History.
The Fiesta Marathon which was held in the upper Valley hosted  over 1000 marathoners, our Texas Regional Bank volunteers were exceptional in assisting in late Saturday registrants at the Recreational Center at UTPA.  Sylvia, Eli, Juan and Maribel spent their afternoon assisting those who needed to pick up packets and register for the next day’s events.  Proceeds went toward Channel 5’s Teach the Children.

Lastly, somewhere in between Los Fresnos and Laguna Vista was a Texas Regional Bank “resting stop” for cyclists who took part in the first ever Bikes to the Beach tour, hosted by Senator Eddie Lucio’s office.   The tour started out at the race park in Harlingen and finished up at Clayton’s on South Padre Island.   Olivia, Brenda, Adrian and families set up station, provided snacks, drinks and resting area for all those who took part in the tour.  All funds raised will be used towards scholarships for local students.
