Kristopher Vasquez, Senior Vice President at TRB Securities, has been named to The Bond Buyer’s 2026 Rising Stars class.
Now in its 11th year, the program recognizes emerging municipal finance professionals for leadership, innovation, collaboration and contributions to the market and the communities it serves.
Vasquez works in negotiated and competitive underwriting, providing price discovery for municipal bond transactions and supporting secondary trading operations. His experience spans cities, counties, school districts, airports, water and sewer authorities, and special districts.
Announcing Vasquez, The Bond Buyer highlighted his role in strengthening TRB’s competitive underwriting platform, including more than $350 million in competitive bids this year and the firm’s position among the nation’s top 25 competitive senior managers.
Vasquez joined the firm in 2024 and advanced to Senior Vice President in 2025. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a minor in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
