Equifax Breach Information

September 9, 2017

As of September 7, 2017, Equifax has stated that there is “No Evidence of Unauthorized Access to Core Consumer or Commerical Credit Reporting Databases” although they did have a breach of one of their access points. Regardless, it may be in your best interest to understand or review the information Equifax has been issuing in response. To review the vital information, we suggest that you visit www.equifaxsecurity2017.com or call Equifax directly at 1-866-447-7559. They are open every day from 7:00am – 1:00 am Eastern time.
Equifax will send direct mail notices to consumers whose credit card numbers (estimated at 209,000 people) or dispute documents (estimated at 182,000 people) with personal identifying information were impacted.
