Troy, a McAllen native, joined the Texas Regional Bank team on March 16 as Senior Vice President Lending at our N. 10th Street Banking Center in McAllen. Troy is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BBA in Finance and the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He began his career in banking as a Loan Officer in 1997 at San Benito Bank & Trust. By 2009, Troy was a Branch President leading a team with $80 million in total assets and a $70 million loan portfolio. Troy’s dedication to family and community along with his outstanding record of leadership create a natural fit for Texas Regional Bank.
