This morning a team of TRB volunteers set out to support the United Way of South Texas. The 2014 Back-To-School “In Style” shopping event took place at a McAllen Target. We were amongst several other volunteers to ‘buddy up’ with one of 120 middle school students. As a shopping buddy, our team’s responsibility was to help the students select appropriate school clothes, personal hygiene items and stay within a budget. Students from PSJA, Donna, Edinburg, Edcouch-Elsa, Hidalgo, La Joya, La Villa and Weslaco participated this event.
