From a Dallas College graduation ceremony to the Krum Boys Basketball Classic, Team TRB was active in communities across North Texas throughout the 2024 holiday season. Team members collectively served over 100 hours in their respective communities throughout the month of December. Read below to see where and how Team TRB served last month.
Team TRB in Dallas participated in University Park’s 17th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and “A Taste of Christmas,” hosted by the Rotary Club of Park Cities and benefiting The Salvation Army and North Texas Food Bank.
Gene Tremblay, from our upcoming Park Cities location, was invited to be the guest speaker at a Dallas College Graduation Ceremony for their BankWork$ cohort. Tremblay delivered a charge to the graduates encouraging them to emphasize key skills such as customer service, problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability. “One of the most valuable skills in banking is truly listening to your customers,” said Gene. “Understand their needs, and you’ll not only meet their expectations—you’ll exceed them and build trust that lasts.”
TRB Teams across our North Texas region collaborated on their 2nd annual blanket collection for Me-Squared Cancer Foundation, established by TRB’s own Mimi Tran. This year, the team collected and donated over 50 blankets to newly diagnosed cancer patients.
Amy Bird and Ed Bird organized and hosted the Krum Boys Basketball Holiday Classic and represented TRB as the title sponsor of the event, providing merchandise, custom event t-shirts, programs, and even provided the TRB Smoker trailer.
TRB Teams across North Texas attended the Metroport Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Business Awards where TRB was honored with a Bronze Star, a recognition for continued support of chamber events.
At TRB, we make it our mission to contribute our time and resources to making our communities great places to live and work. We believe that we are successful when our communities are successful. This is what it means to be part of Team TRB.
