Mr. Magallanes joined the firm in May 2021.  He currently provides support analysis to investment bankers as it relates to the financing needs of various public issuers, which includes cities, counties, and school districts.

Prior to joining Estrada Hinojosa, Mr. Magallanes was a Regional Director for Business Services for the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB).  He assisted public entities, but primarily school districts, with business and operational related needs throughout West and South Texas.  In his journey serving the public sector, Mr. Magallanes was also a school district administrator and teacher in the Rio Grande Valley.

In 2010, Mr. Magallanes was elected to the Donna Independent School District’s board of trustees, where he served his community for one term.  His commitment to public service has led him to serve in various committees and was also a volunteer firefighter for his hometown.
