Estrada Hinojosa and TRB Capital Markets today announced an important brand transition tied to the firm’s continued growth and integration with Texas Regional Bank. As part of a continued effort to improve client experience, the firm’s trading, sales, underwriting, and public finance business lines will operate under the new name TRB Capital Markets.
This strategic rebranding represents the expanded capabilities, national reach, and strengthened platform built since the firm’s acquisition by Texas Regional Bank in August 2024. Under the TRB Capital Markets identity, clients will continue to receive the same level of expertise, service, and market insight, now backed by a broader and more fully integrated capital markets infrastructure.
The Estrada Hinojosa name, a respected brand for more than three decades, will remain in place exclusively for the firm’s Municipal Advisory practice. Maintaining the Estrada Hinojosa identity on the advisory side preserves the firm’s longstanding reputation and advisory relationships while allowing TRB Capital Markets to establish a distinct presence across underwriting and other market-facing business lines.
“This transition marks an exciting next chapter,” said John Tippit, President of TRB Divisions. “By aligning our market-driven businesses under TRB Capital Markets while preserving the heritage of the Estrada Hinojosa advisory platform, we are positioning ourselves for long-term growth and providing our clients with a more powerful, unified capital markets offering.”
The rebranding is effective December 1, 2025. All client services, contracts, and points of contact remain unchanged.
