Dallas, Texas—Texas Regional Bank (TRB) has named Michael Colon as a Senior Vice President and Lending Officer in Dallas, reinforcing its commitment to serving businesses in the region. With over 30 years of experience in banking and financial services, Mike brings expertise in corporate and commercial banking, capital markets, syndications, underwriting, and credit structuring.
Mike has a proven track record of structuring and executing financing solutions across many industries such as manufacturing, transportation, energy, natural resources, financial services, agriculture, real estate, and private equity. He previously held senior relationship manager roles and various other significant positions at Fifth Third Bank, Bank of Texas, and Bank of America, where he specialized in commercial and corporate lending.
Doug Hester, Chief Administration Officer at TRB, highlighted Mike’s appointment as a strategic addition to the Dallas team. “Michael’s deep knowledge of corporate and commercial lending strengthens our ability to deliver tailored financial solutions,” said Hester. “His expertise in structuring complex transactions will be key as we continue to grow our presence in the Dallas market.”
