Harlingen, TX—In the Valley Morning Star’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards contest, Texas Regional Bank’s (TRB) Harlingen branches were once again voted Best Bank, and Michele Robinson was named Best Banker. This marks the fifth consecutive year TRB has earned “Best Bank” in Harlingen and the sixth year in a row Robinson has received “Best Banker.”

Michele Robinson Wins Best Banker
Michele Robinson, Senior Vice President and Area Market President for Harlingen, will celebrate 10 years with TRB this year. A Harlingen High School graduate, her banking career spans nearly three decades in the Rio Grande Valley, where she continues to live and raise her family.
“It’s a wonderful surprise each time I hear this news,” said Robinson, reflecting on her sixth consecutive Best Banker award. “Our goal is to ensure that before anyone brings us their needs, they already know the names and faces they’ll see when they walk through our doors.
