Texas Regional Bank recently completed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partnership with Eddie Lee Marburger, quarterback for UTRGV Football’s inaugural season. A Rio Grande Valley native, Marburger represents a new generation of local talent competing during a historic moment for the university as it launches its football program.

As part of the partnership, TRB and Marburger collaborated on a series of three short-form commercials that bring Texas’ beloved football tradition into everyday banking moments. Filmed at TRB locations across the Valley, the spots blend light humor with recognizable interactions and reflect a style of community banking that revolves around real relationships with people you know.

In addition to this NIL agreement with Marburger, TRB continues its ongoing partnership with UTRGV and UTRGV Athletics, supporting milestone moments tied to the university’s growth and the Rio Grande Valley.

Throughout UTRGV Football’s inaugural season, members of TRB’s executive leadership team were invited to present the official game ball at each home game, recognizing a historic year for the program and the community it represents.
