January 29, 2025

Rosenberg, Texas—Texas Regional Bank (TRB) celebrated the Grand Opening of its Rosenberg banking center on Thursday, January 23, 2025. The ceremony marked an important milestone for TRB as it continues to expand its footprint in Fort Bend County and the greater Houston area.

The event featured a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, heartfelt remarks from TRB leadership and community representatives, and a celebration of local non-profits and young entrepreneurs. Guests enjoyed refreshments, networking opportunities, and a chance to meet the TRB Rosenberg team.

“We are thrilled to deepen our ties with Rosenberg and to offer TRB’s relationship style of banking to clients, families, and businesses in our newest market,” said Lisa Ta, Market President for Southwest Houston. “Fort Bend’s diversity and strong community values create an exciting opportunity for our team to contribute to the region’s bright future,” Ta added.

TRB’s presence in Rosenberg marks another step in the bank’s strategic growth across Texas, now with over 30 locations statewide. Under the bank’s community core value, ‘We are successful when our communities are successful’, TRB teams in each banking center take pride in devoting their time and resources to making their communities great places to live and work.

“Rosenberg’s growth and business opportunities are impressive, but what truly excites us is the sense of community here,” said Lewis Gissel, Houston Region President. “We’ve been welcomed warmly by the people of Rosenberg and Richmond, and that connection is at the heart of our mission. By fostering relationships and supporting this vibrant community, we aim to make a lasting, positive impact.”

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Jamie Brown-Rosas, TRB’s Chief Community and Business Development Officer, who attributed the rapid growth of the area to the community’s pride in their region. Chairman and CEO Michael Scaief addressed the attendees, underscoring TRB’s dedication to serving the individuals, families, and businesses in the Rosenberg and Richmond communities.

Kristin Weiss, President and CEO of the Central Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, shared her insights on the growth and vitality of commerce and communities in Central Fort Bend. Emphasizing the importance of financial literacy and small business development, TRB celebrated “The Juicy Lemon” lemonade stand, operated by Lemonade Day Entrepreneur of the Year recipient Adalynn Lopez. The event also spotlighted Behind the Badge Charities for their unwavering commitment to supporting first responders and their families throughout Fort Bend County.

Following these highlights, Ta led the ceremonial ribbon cutting, and the event concluded with a special presentation from Ethan Kasmir, a representative of Congressman Troy Nehls, who presented a Certificate of Congressional Recognition in honor of the new banking center’s presence in the region.
