Texas Regional Bank has a core value of supporting our community organizations. We have a volunteer program to give our team members the opportunity to get involved and donate their time and energy to local causes.
Texas Regional Bank’s first volunteer opportunity under this program was a great success. Texas Regional Bank had representatives working the Boys and Girls Club of Harlingen Annual Bar-B-Q fundraiser on Friday, November 30th. This annual event generates funding to provide about 4,000 meals to kids during the summer.
The TRB group of volunteers pitched in by serving, packing, setting up and handing out the bar-b-q plates. Each TRB volunteer had time to meet with children and other community leaders who take part in activities and the success of the Boys and Girls Club of Harlingen. Michael Lamon, Texas Regional Bank President is a Boys and Girls Club of Harlingen board member and invited his team to be a part of this great event.
